A Discussion of Integrative Dry Needling and Acupuncture
This has long been on my to-do list of things to write about, and given it can be a sensitive topic for acupuncturists and other allied health professionals, I have mostly ignored the discussion to this point. However, the intent behind my company’s mission is “to educate and empower people to take an active role in their personal, family and community wellness”. So I wanted to discuss the topic of “Trigger Point Dry Needling” or “integrative Dry Needling”, which ais now marketed in other allied health professions – Medical Doctors, Physical Therapy, Chiropractic an in some areas Massage Therapy – from the perspective of “education”.
